McBusted reveal their deepest darkest secrets
Source: Sugarscape

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LET MCBUSTED CONTROL EACH OTHER...

McBusted. Despite the fact they didn't even exist just a few short months ago, they're taking over the music world - with a sell out 2014 tour and a headline spot in actual HYDE PARK as part of Barclaycard's British Summer Time concerts.

We caught up with the guys after their big gig announcement, and celebrated the only way we know how - by making them spill each other's deepest, darkest secrets in The Puppet Game.

This game involves the players dividing into pairs, with the person behind (oo-err) becoming the arms and voice of the person in front, as we ask them questions like 'how often do you lie?' and 'What's your most annoying habit?'.

As you'd expect from McBusted, the result was a mish-mash of hilarious voices, really quite strange answers and a headbutting incident. Watch and see for yourselves...

MCBUSTED PRESS CONFERENCE PART II

After all the McBusted album rumours we didn't really know what to expect from the press conference that happened just half an hour ago. Just before the big news hit our screens this tweet caught our eye.

After all the 'McBusted album, another McBusted tour, McBusted being permanent, McFly album 6 being postponed' fuss, we all reacted with 'this can't be it?' and 'they need to do a press conference for this?' (We weren't that far of though. McBusted have no album plans, but confirmed that major labels have approached them - see article below).

But looking at it differently, it's a HUGE deal. They're headlining 'British Summer Time Hyde Park' and their special guests are the BACKSTREET BOYS. The biggest gig they'll ever play. So even though the news already leaked before the press conference, and we were all super confused after all the fuss being made, we are super excited for McBusted headlining Hyde Park.

Watch the announcement here:

Some more things from the press conference:

McBusted’s BIG Announcement - REVEALED
Source: Be The Red Carpet

Just weeks after the first McBusted press conference announcing a UK super group tour, a second press conference has happened this morning in London’s Leicester Square. All six members of McBusted were present.

It’s been announced this morning that the band will be MCBUSTED ARE HEADLINING @BSTHydePark on Sunday 6th July. Tickets go on sale Friday at 9am! McBusted will be joined by special guests Backstreet Boys.

The gig will be the biggest show the band will ever play.

McFLY teased the news on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ in the week stating that it would be the biggest announcement of their career’s, well they got that one right.

Rumors of an album also popped up over the weekend, The Sun stated that the super-group are very close to signing an album deal with Sony, after their 34 date tour sold out within hours of tickets going on sale, proving that McBusted is definitely the place to be.

At this time the band have no plans to release an album but have confirmed that many major labels have approached them.

Both McFly and Busted have always written together and whilst on tour they all expect they’ll be writing together a whole lot more. McFLY’s sixth studio album, in which the band flew to Texas to record has been postponed until 2014 with a solid date still in the air.

So who’s excited by McBusted’s latest announcement?!

McBusted embrace bad band name
Source: Contactmusic

Super-group McBusted claim their new name was the best of a bad bunch and they are embracing how terrible it is.

McBusted are proud of their "s**t" band name.

The McFly and Busted boys, who have teamed up for a UK tour next year, struggled to come up with an imaginative name for their super-group and have been forced to embrace how terrible their new moniker is.

Speaking at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards 2013 presented by Vauxhall Adam on Thursday night (06.12.13), Matt Willis joked: "We'd gone through regretting it, and now we embrace it. We think actually, it's so s**t, we quite like it! There was a really s**t list of names, and this was the only possible one. It was the best of a really bad bunch."

Tom Fletcher added: "Bustfly, they were all on there. I challenge anyone to work out a better one!"

All the McFly boys - Tom, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd - will take part, while Matt and James Bourne will represent Busted minus original lead singer Charlie Simpson.

The pop favourites claim the transition has been very natural because they have all been friends for years.

Tom explained to BANG Showbiz: "What's awesome about us is that we started off as bands that had a real genuine relationship. We were around at the same time so we've basically been in each others' bands for ten years anyway."

Matt chimed in: "We went on the road with each other loads, we were around when McFly started. It's been a really easy transition."

"We've always written songs on tour. And we have a really lengthy tour, so hopefully! We only intended to release nine dates. And we thought we were being really cocky doing that, but now it's 35. It just gets bigger all the time."

THEY'VE OBVIOUSLY BEEN PRACTISING

Remember when McBusted first announced they were a 'thing' and then turned up to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere in the shape of a human pyramid? Yeah, that was sort of incredible.

But clearly these lads aren't happy with being a one trick pony or anything less than bloody *amazing*, because they've rocked up to Cosmopolitan's Ultimate Women of the Year Awards in poses that blow human pyramids out of the water. And we are impressed.

Yep, the lot have obviously been working on some new red carpet ideas for the cameras and while some boybands supergroups are happy just to stand and stare broodily into a lens until it explodes into a million pieces *cough* Zayn Malik *cough*, these guys are not.

SERIOUSLY. The most we expect from our typical boybandy types is JLS' Aston doing a backflip or two during a concert, but this amount of dedication is simply outstanding. PLUS, we get to see some torso action, which is always a bit of a bonus.

But in case you're wondering just how this was physically possible, there's also a handy 'before' photo which should come in handy if you fancy recreating this with your mates later on...

Really aren't afraid of getting their faces in each other's crotches, are they? We commend that.

Well, there isn't a lot more we can say about this really apart from CONGRATULATIONS LADS, you've raised the bar for posing celebrities everywhere. Things can only go up from here.

We've definitely found our new screensaver, but what do you think of McBusted's latest red carpet assault? Impressed? Slightly alarmed? Bit of both? Comments please...

Walking through the terminal

It's happening again. The McBusted tour is getting bigger. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning 9AM UK Time. For all dates go to mcbusted.com.

Also, there will be another McBusted press conference on Monday. James tweeted about this yesterday, but deleted his tweet not much later. We do wonder what this will be about. What we'd like the news to be is the fact Charlie will be joining in (we doubt this will actually happen, but hey, a girl can dream right?).

The McBusted tour dates that have been added haven't all sold out... So a press conference for more dates seems unlikely. Going abroad also seems unlikely to us. Busted was mainly successful in the UK - the small amount of Busted fans across Europe that are excited for the McBusted tour already have tickets. Plus compared to the UK, Busted were basically unheard of in Europe. They probably won't sell that much tickets.

In conclusion. We think I'd be cool if McBusted stop adding extra dates and we are really curious to hear more about this press conference. To be continued! In the meantime, let us know what you think about the extra dates or what the press conference will be about!

Don't forget to tune in for Harry and Matt on BBC5 later. They will be on around 3.20 AM. Listen live HERE.

He took me to the future in the flux thing

McBusted add even more dates to their UK tour
Source: Sugarscape

THIS IS AN ATTEMPT AT WORLD DOMINATION DISGUISED AS A BOYBAND TOUR, ISN’T IT?

If you’ve been drowning in a sea of snotty tissues, crumpled old Smash Hits posters and buckets of cookie dough ice cream to try and console yourself about not getting tickets to the McBusted tour, FEAR NOT, because the boys have added even more dates to their already huge UK tour.

Thanks to the crazy demand that the supergroup have seen for tickets to their 2014, a bonus four gigs have been added to the 20 date tour, meaning you’ve got a second chance to get your mitts on tickets to see all six of the lads in all their sweaty Busted jumping glory. RESULT.

Tom, Danny, Harry, Dougie, James and Matt announced yesterday that they’d be hitting Liverpool, Birmingham, Nottingham and Newcastle for four bonus non-Jonas nights of the McBusted tour, and tickets went on sale at 9am this morning.

Yep, you guessed it - the majority were snapped up within the first couple of minutes of them being up for grabs, but we’re fairly sure that if you fancy going along for a boogie and don’t mind not being within sniffing distance of the lads, you’ll be able to some tickets for yourself.

Apparently, if you add up all the tickets of the venues they've sold out, it comes to nearly 250,000 seats, which is MENTAL. The McBusted revolution is starting to turn into something that we’re not sure whether to obsess over, or be absolutely terrified of. We’re going to go with the obsession seeing as that's what we do best. HURRAH.

With the brand new gigs included, the McBusted tour is now looking more delish than Dougie did when he set his pubes on fire.

May 2014:

Friday 16 - Glasgow, SSE Hydro
Saturday 17 - Birmingham, LG Arena
Monday 19 - Sheffield, Motorpoint Arena
Tuesday 20 - Nottingham, Capital FM Arena
Wednesday 21 - Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena

SO THAT'S A LOT ISN'T IT. Jeez, Baby Fletcher will be off to high school and Dougie will have broken out of puberty by the time McBusted are done and dusted with this tour. Have you managed to bag yourself tickets to the tour of the century yet?
